Gopher Gulch RV & Campground

Park looks decent enough from outside of the gate. Unfortunately we were not allowed to enter. Online reservations only! Do not expect to have a human help you with an in-person reservation. Rude, rude, rude!

We drove an hour and a half from Jellystone in Larkspur up to Longmont to drive through Gopher Gulch RV park to try and pick a site for our large Class A motorhome. Since this is a newer park, we wanted to take a quick look around to see the quality of the park and amenities. We wanted to see how level and spacious the sites are. We were in my Land Rover Defender. We arrived at the gated entrance and were met by the office manager. She told us we could not enter the park without an online reservation. We came to this RV park to look at the sites before we committed to a 2 week reservation. Upon arrival, we realized you needed a gate code to enter or you could call the office. Someone from the office came to the gate and told us we could not come in without a reservation. All reservations had to be booked online before we could enter and we were not allowed to check out the campground first. Makes sense why they were so empty.
