Gila Hot Springs & Campground

We had the best time here in April. The camp manager and owner are friendly and helpful, the pools are hot and welcoming, the other campers were all respectful and quiet through the night. This place truly is magical. Pitching camp 10 feet from the water gives you a free natural white noise machine all night. We will be back. Thank you Carla for such wonderful hospitality!!

This is a nice private campground with well maintained (and cleaned) hot springs. We had site 11 which was right on the Gila River, but other sites were set back more. When we were there in mid-April 2026, they were not allowing campfires, whereas the National Forest campgrounds were allowing them. Carla and Augie (sp?) were great hosts. And definitely check out the goats!!

Used to be a very special place for me but now the new overseer Carla makes sure its not. The previous reviews about her are spot-on. She told a Hispanic couple they were full then proceeded to let several other people in. She was shushing our kids before we even got out of our vehicle. Then she tried aggressively scolding my 4yr old daughter for throwing a pebble into the pool. I shut her down immediately and said i can parent my own child thanks and she gave me the dirtiest look for calling her out. I had the best and most relaxing weekend ever at the Gila hot springs campground. The Host Augie was really my favorite part, such a good guy with many stories to tell. I can’t wait to return

Very clean hot springs. Affordable and close to the dwellings. Great campsites with fire rings and picnic tables. They offer firewood for sale. No showers. Potable water available.
