A fantastic year-round hidden gem of a state park, not too far from several cities, yet with a real wild feel. The lake is beautiful for fishing or hiking around on the Lakeside Trail. Other hiking trails take you through a variety of landscapes. Very clean and well-maintained campsites and bathrooms.
