Gateway Lodge, Cabins, and Restaurant

Beautiful and scenic. A great relaxing getaway. Luxury cabin is gorgeously designed and well kept. Prices are fair for the stay. Only complaint is for a luxury cabin there should be a tv (not to take away from the breath taking views, but just incase or of you like sleeping with one on) Also, there should be curtains on all the windows... the prefix Saturday evening at the lodge was very relaxing, grateful music and beautiful. Beautiful, romantic, peaceful

This was a surprise birthday trip. Thr customer service and attention to detail were second to none. From the minute we checked in Lucy was welcoming, helpful and thorough. He preordered the Cheese platter (with detail description of the cheeses and where they were from) that was waiting on our room when we checked in. I appreciated the complementary snickerdoodle cookies that were baked fresh that afternoon and waiting in the room. The room was beautifully appointed and I loved the balcony. Anniversary getaway to Gateway. We had a Fireside Suite/No TV. The Lodge is beautiful inside and out. The food at the restaurant was delicious! We recommend the Sourdough Boulle Appetizer. Our waitress was Addison and she was so sweet, attentive and it was a pleasure to speak with her during our stay. Rob was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the wines, beers we would order. He also made several recommendations for places to see while we were visiting including the hike to the Ancient Forest. We can’t wait to return.
