Very plain, even for a state park. Not much wild life to see and hardly any trees. Pay to enter with no attendant and a kiosk that doesn't print tickets. No fishing allowed.

I found this little riverside park on a bright sunny day and thought it would be a perfect family picnic spot. Then I pulled in and saw the sign — they’re charging $10 just to park. TEN DOLLARS. For a tiny, empty patch of land with nothing to justify that price. I didn’t even bother. I turned around and left immediately. There are countless parks in this area that are larger, cleaner, better maintained, and completely free. Charging people to simply exist on this property is absurd.
