We stayed for a week October 2025. Our truck broke down on the way, we were not sure if we had to cancel. The owner was extremely accommodating and fair. This campground is perfect. Mature trees and flat spots. Uber clean private shower bathrooms. We rode electric bikes, close to downtown Custer and the Michelson trail goes as long as you can. Close to the popular tourist spots. Bike ride into downtown Custer with eating spots and grocery store. Owners are engaged and work hard to keep it clean. He’s also a Vet- so many thanks for his service to our country. We will be back for sure.

We made reservations and had planned a 2 month trip for our 1st time out west, but than the Iran War started and we had to cancel 18 different campgrounds reservations because of the high price of diesel fuel. This was the only Campground that would not give a refund back to our credit card. We had to pay a 1 night deposit or they wouldn't even make reservations so we feel they needed to refund us but they won't . Don't ever make reservations here unless you know nothing is going to happen to keep you from going because they don't care and won't refund. We would not recommend this campground t…
