Fort Myers / Pine Island KOA Holiday

Very clean park. Staff was super friendly. Great place to spend some time. I would recommend anyone to stop and stay. They even have a brand new playground and the pool was sparkling.

We stayed 4 nights in April 2026 and enjoyed the quiet after snowbirds had departed. Lovely campground with beautiful pool and facilities. We enjoyed the deluxe KOA patio site with the umbrella table seating for 4 and the 2-seat glider. It was the perfect way to observe the turtles and birds in the pond at our site. Concrete pad was perfect for camping. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Suggest they clarify that WiFi isn’t free as indicated in directory and on reservation. However, we were there to disconnect anyway. Looking forward to returning.

My wife and I spent the Month of March at the Pine Island KOA. The staff was friendly and were able to answer any questions we asked. ALL the facilities were very clean and well maintained. The Pool and Hot Tub were fantastic. Our Daughter, son in law and Grandkids came down with their camper and spent a week with us, our grandkids loved the brand new kids playground, our 3 pups loved big dog park. Very quite but plenty of restaurants right up the street ! If your looking for a laid back vacation for a week or a month or longer, this is your place.

We stayed here for the the last 2 weeks of January 2026. They have done a lot of work rehabbing this rv park from the massive hurricane damage, and have done a good job. This koa and location is sort of unique. Being on pine island, the island is in the inner-coastal-waterway, the island is approximately 3 miles wide by 17 miles long. There is a winn-dixie and publix on the island. There are some local restaurants. There are some local bars to that we frequented. Super spacious, perfect for dogs. If you have bikes there is a great route with side walks down to some good restaurants. Bathrooms were extremely clean and the showers were hot.
