Flamingo Campground

Great campground. We stayed in the T Loop in January 2022 on the coldest day of the year the temp was 38 degrees Farenheit. Yaaassss!! Rare for South Florida, but true. Make sure to reserve online before going... that should take care of your campsite fee. There is also a National Park entrance fee. We pitched a tent. I think there is a two (2) tent max per site. Dont park on grass!! There are also eco tents there. Flamingo Campground was my last destination at Everglades National Park. I had already reserved a spot. I checked in with the person standing at the main gate; she gave me a map and more than enough instructions. After I settled in, I went for a walk to watch the sunset at Flamingo Beach. Back at my camping spot around 6 pm, I managed to take a shower at the public shower area, made some food, brewed tea, and immediately went into my tent since there were bugs all over. It's a campground, so no rooms, but an abundance of sites, both electric and non-electric. It has a great staff, clean bath houses with showers, ice and wood available, bikes for rent. Location, location, location! Enjoy.
