Fern Lake Campground

Very nice well maintained and quiet place to stay.

Wonderful hosts! We did get lost coming in, and drove up the cemetery road to their house instead of proceeding down to the RV entrance. But Robert and Ruth were beyond gracious, got us straightened out and gifted us with a small carton of farm-fresh eggs. Awesome folks!

Very cute little campground right off the interstate. It's a pond, not a lake but mowed around makes for a nice walk. Owners were pleasant and very honest. After we left I see they refunded the credit card 6.22 because my husband wasn't given the military discount upon arrival. I AM VERY IMPRESSED!!

I found my experience staying at the Fern Lake Campground to be quite enjoyable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The quiet surprised me in spite of the proximity of the interstate. The campground is well maintained and clean and there are bath houses and laundry facilities. This campground is a base enabling exploring Paducah and all of the surrounding opportunities. One of the gems is the Fern Lake and enjoying the relaxing views or walking around the lake. I would come back and recommend to others.

This is a cute set up of trailers and tents, appropriately designed where the office, bathrooms and even picnic tables were placed. They offered food trucks, movies on Friday (thank you for turning on the captions) and friendly campers who stayed there. As for tenters, the ground was good but be careful stepping on some areas where you could crush a critter tunnel. If you want to use electricity, bring your 220 adapter to connect your 110 plug. An employee was sweet to let me borrow the adapter for my cooking and to warn you tenters, there are no tables for the tent area. Overall, I was…
