Farm Retreat at Hidden Meadow

About Farm Retreat at Hidden Meadow
Get ready to be embraced by nature! Our cozy campsites are snuggled within a charming willow grove, right on the fringe of our verdant organic field, where we grow colorful flowers and various veggies, as well as pumpkins for our pumpkin patch here on our commercial organic farm. You won't believe the view! Imagine waking up to the sight of a color-soaked field, a rolling hillside, and distant mountains painting the horizon. And oh, let's not forget the convenience – we're comfortably tucked less than two miles off Route 101. Plus, we're just a hop, skip, and a jump (over a mile, to be exact) away from the cute-as-a-button Victorian village of Ferndale. Navigating your way around? It's a piece of cake! Adventure awaits, and we can't wait to welcome you.

Charming rustic place to camp! Some mosquitoes buzzing around, so put some spray on, but otherwise a lovely campsite.
Actually very nice! You wake up looking at the fields with cows and hills in the background. Better to at least have a car because you need to have quite a bit of water with you to wash stuff with. There is a portable toilet onsite you can use otherwise. Ferndale is 5 min away and there are big stores like Safeway or Grocery Outlet 12min away. The other campsites are not in sight or within hearing distance (can’t say the same about state parks), so that’s nice too. Would be back on my way north for sure
This was a super cute place to camp! Will come back again. Lots of bugs, but if you have a big tent you’ll do just fine.
I enjoyed tent camping at Secret Grotto! It was private and secluded tucked in amongst the trees. During these summer months, bug spray is important! I had an easy time navigating to the campsite and Katherine was responsive and timely in answering questions.
Great quiet spot. Peaceful and spaced out nicely from other sites. Buggy and farm smell if that bothers you
