Since it was originally built, the kitchen ceiling has been lifted into the attic, walls removed, and a new bathroom installed. The walls and ceiling have been insulated so that it heats quite well with the fireplace, which is ideal for spring and fall. The screened front porch has a table for dining and is only steps from the shores of Paradox Lake. Located on the waterfront, in addition to the natural sand beach and swim raft, there are docks and complimentary rowboats. There are also rentals available for glampers to use including six horse-power with 14-foot outboard boats, canoes, kayaks, and Sunfish sailboats. The rental is equipped with a vacuum cleaner and cleaning products.
