Good location for a camp ground. It is heavily wooded area but no mosquitos. Bath room has flush toilets.
Fairholme Campground is my absolute favorite place to camp in Olympic National Park. I stay here pretty much every time I’m photographing elopements around Lake Crescent. The views are unreal, some campsites are right by the water. If you book those, just know your car will be parked a bit uphill and you’ll have to walk, but totally worth it. Just check the campground map carefully when booking. There’s also a small general store right on the beach where you can rent kayaks (usually open in summer), plus a boat launch and a pier (I’ve seen people fishing there all the time). Loved camping here in September! Booked a few days before (they open a small number of sites 2-3 days before). The lake is beautiful and easy access (can drive right up to it if walking is tough). Bathrooms were typical camp bathrooms with a few 🦗critters🪲 in the corners, but otherwise clean & flushing toilets! Great hammock spots & nice sized campsites! We will be coming back!
