About Experience: Bell Springs
Experience true serenity and solace here on the mountain. When was the last time you couldn’t hear traffic or random gardening equipment? Sit back with a book and relish in absolute solitude. Immerse yourself in spectacular panoramic views and watch the wildlife or explore one of our many forest trails by foot, bike or even your atv! We are thrilled to be here and we want others to come experience all the amazing things Mendocino county has to offer! We are 4 miles off hwy 101 up a dirt road with a 10% grade. 2WD will make it, but AWD or 4WD may be easier. We may be far off the main road, but once you get here, it is definitely worth the drive! Don’t let us make that decision for you, though, come see it for yourself and let us know what you think!

This is definitely the most out of the way Hipcamp I've stayed at, so if you like adventure and being in a remote area, this is for you! I stayed in the Sunset View site and the views are spectacular! The hosts welcomed me, and were really nice and accommodating. That being said, I think it would be helpful if there was information about the road conditions in the listing. The road up to the site is 4 miles, but it is all uphill, unpaved and in some areas is only wide enough for one vehicle. There's a sign that says it's a 10% grade, which seems accurate. There are a lot of rocks on the road,…
We booked Sunset view campsite for 1 night at the top of the property sitting below the ATV entrance leading into the forest. We booked specifically for the sunset and fog over the mountain tops to sip coffee and stare at the view & enjoy the beautiful starry sky at night, not looking for hiking, exploring or ATV. There was a little breeze in the late afternoon when we arrived, it was 10 degrees cooler up in the mountain than below in the valley and at dusk the breeze completely died down making for a perfect quiet evening without mosquitoes. If you like to drive your car offroad like we do th…
Corydon and Deanna were super nice and accommodating! Sunset view was epic!
This was an absolutely spectacular HipCamp location! The views were incredible from the campsite, with a perfect sunset view over the hills right from the site. Corydon & Deanna were very welcoming, communicated proactively ahead of my trip and ensured I had a pleasant stay. I wish I had taken more time to stay and explore the trails around the property, and am looking forward to visiting again! Like they mention in the description, the drive up can be a little bit steep or narrow at points, and having an AWD/4WD vehicle helped, but a 2WD vehicle should be able to handle the drive without iss…
