My husband and I bought this property in 2010 after selling our beach house in California. We have adapted to mountain life with the change of seasons and so much wildlife here in Colorado. I even had a close encounter with a bear! It was about twelve feet away from me; we looked at one another and I said, "Oh, hello." After several seconds it simply turned around and walked away. I was surprisingly calm and so was the bear. We frequently have deer and elk visiting our property along with squirrels and chipmunks. We especially enjoy the hummingbirds that show up in May. I created a garden with their favorite flowers so they have their own little sanctuary here. We have a seven-year-old chocolate lab names Yogi who loves people and friendly dogs. He loves to go on hikes and swim in lakes.

Beautiful area, good level spot and felt very comfortable.
It’s probably just me, but I honestly was disappointed. The hosts were plenty friendly, and this was my first experience on this app. I had mistakenly expected a more typical campground experience. I parked in the driveway of a postage stamp sized lot and I was advised to park so that my double doors opened up to their little zen garden. And frankly, that felt a bit awkward because it was also opened up to the windows of their house. It made me feel observed. If you just need a place to park, it’s fine. I was looking for more. I was not planning on giving a review but I felt harassed to do so.…
Carol was very accommodating. We arrived late after a concert at Red Rocks. She was up to assist us when we arrived. Location is beautiful and safe.
Great place to stay if you’re in Evergreen or trying to catch a show at red rocks. Carol was a great host!
The site was nice and level. It was a quick drive to town. The hosts were very nice. I would definitely stay here again.
