Beautiful and very peaceful! We enjoyed our time at Andrew's camp and really appreciated the morning shade! Andrew was very responsive when we needed a little help with directions. As he describes, a high clearance vehicle is needed to reach the site and the site is about 300 feet from parking along a rocky, uneven path, so pack with this in mind. Great stay ~30 min out from the Sand Dunes!

Great camp spot with views of the valley and Blanca Peak! Great for tent camping with a 100yard walk from the road to camp.

Andrew has done a great job with the sight. The tent pad is nice and flat, there is a picnic table, not sure how it got down the trail, and the fire pit is nice and deep, but not to big. The views are very good, the stars were great. The road getting there is very rough, but Andrew makes sure you know that going in. We were in a Wrangler and had no issues. It is high dessert so be prepared for cactus etc. so sturdy shoes are a must. Overall a very nice camp site, private and well laid out.

Definitely a bit of a rocky road to get there but it's worth it. The spot is nice and secluded with a picnic table and spots for tents. There were a lot of cactus and yucca off trail but that's to be expected in the desert. Andrew's directions were super helpful and he was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area!

Beautiful campsite and view. Road wasn’t bad, came in and out of the campsite several times throughout the visit and it was pretty quick and do-able. Very remote (could hear some people and animals in the distance a couple of times, but very far away). The walk down to the site is best with closed toe shoes and it’s helpful to have a few people to reduce trips up and down.
