I have stayed at this park before in November. I am well aware of their winter availability and reservation system. Before making plans to arrive, I checked the website for availability and any alerts I needed to be aware of. All sites were available, and there were no alerts other than that the bathrooms and water would be shut off which I knew because of my stay in November. I arrived on an evening after dark when the temps were 11 and the windchill was below zero. I planned to stay in the electric site for the ability to have heat. When I arrived at the entrance, it was barricaded and …
Stayed there in youth site. We were quite suprised by the large size of the site. Nice quiet area where the boys could do thier thing, but not disturb other campers. Was a bit dissapointed by the lack of trail maps at the check-in booth. Restrooms were nice and clean (for a camp site). Will plan on camping there again! Update...We did a 10 mile hike there and it was a nice hike. Overall, an easy hike but a couple spots were a little bit more moderate.
We love this facility. The trails are awesome and we'll maintained. The arena is safe with great footing, and the camping or haul in options are awesome. We have done all the things!
