Great campsites right by the water
I mainly just visited the North East Beach section of this park, and was not impressed by the road damage leading to the toll gate, the gate not having a credit/debit option (it's honor system self-pay only), and the rough state of the sandy beach. It did not look well maintained or landscaped by the Maryland DNR, compared to better maintained parks in Howard, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore Counties. I would not recommend this park to others. Turkey Point Lighthouse trail is a much better experience.
