Great experience, first camping will do it again.
Established trails. Well maintained restrooms. Plenty of parking areas and boat ramps. Roads are great. Feels like a piece of 1950s Americana. We hiked almost the entire trail and it was absolutely great. Most of it is in the shade of trees with some limited access to the lake along the way and some gorgeous overlooks. Definitely enjoyed it! We'll be going back again and again!
