The campsite itself was spacious, with a decent fire pit and a picnic table in good condition. The ground was covered in leaf litter, which raised some concerns about ticks. They also did not enforce the rule of 2 tents per site as our neighbors had five tents and many people at one site who were loud, but otherwise the site was pleasant and the lake was beautiful. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were a major disappointment. They were in poor condition, and there was an inappropriate carving in one of the stalls. We are in campsite 27. The only minor inconvenience is the difficulty to get to the water from the site, taking kayaks to and from water. But that is nature now campgrounds fault. Plus we are camping. If you don't want to get a little dirty, don't go camping. This is a beautiful place.
