Edgar Evins State Park Campground

Had primitive campsite 1. The walk from the parking lot was awful but I found a nice spot near to load and unload my car. Park is very hilly but if you want that great butt you'll walk them. 😆 Nice lake view, clean but outdated bathrooms. Camp office was being worked on which was a hassle trying to get ice. Had to drive 5 miles to Dollar General for it. Overall good and beautiful park.

Very nice campground, no full hook ups. Most all of the Sites are all cantilevered w/ 6x6 deck boards-to park on or set up a tent, most have water and electricity. Restrooms are dated but clean, Several of the sites have lake views, winter camping is awesome, less than a handful of campers are here at any time! Some of the sites have inclines, and declines approaches, it can be difficult to uncouple your RV.

I thought the rv and primitive were in a cool location. Unfortunately the primitive sites require a small amount of hauling, which I wish I had known that.
