Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals

We had a seamless and smooth rental experience over the holidays in a lovely, clean, and spacious Oxford property that even had a Christmas tree.

This is the second time we have stayed at “Pride and Joy”’of Oxford. My 95 year old mother-in-law lives in Oxford and as our families have grown we have needed to find places for our individual families to stay during our yearly get togethers. This house suits our multigenerational family of 6-4 adults and 2 kids perfectly. The house is in a great location and well stocked with everything needed to enjoy ourselves.

We had the best time! This is the second year we stayed at this house, and we love it! I'm posting this review late. We stayed in July 2025. We are a multigenerational family of 7 adults and 2 young children. The decor and furnishings are very updated--coastal, relaxing, and comfortable. The bedroom layout works well for us. The kitchen, family room, and eat-in sunroom, which overlooks the water, all are perfect. The kitchen is very well appointed with plenty of room in cabinets to store your nonperishable items. What a lovely time we had at Blue Heron Villa for our Christmas holiday! The home is situated on a cove with spectacular views of Oak Creek. The rooms and bathrooms are large and appointed with everything we could need. The large open kitchen with large island made it easy and fun for everyone to gather together as we assembled meals. There are plenty of kitchen tools but it does take a minute to find them all in all of the cabinets and drawers. We had three generations together for Christmas and New Years at the Red Barn Farm. The setting is pure Eastern Shore and it is very close to St. Michael’s downtown. We love the house. The living areas downstairs are inviting, comfortable and practical. Lots of games, puzzles and books. A well equipped kitchen that is a joy to cook in, and very comfortable beds. We would love to return!
