Loved this campground. All except the biting gnats. Make sure you have gnat screens or an air conditioner to keep you locked in tight at night and early morning. A nice playground for our son. The beach was better than I thought it would be. White soft sand. We saw manatees and dolphins. Great spot to kayak, paperboard, fish or dock your boat. Just be mindful that the raccoons are little thieves and if you don’t have a lock on the cooler, they will get in. The walk to the beach is kind of fast, so I’d recommend a bike, especially if you came in a large RV.
Nice park for fishing and small beach
This place is such a wonderful place to camp and enjoy nature on the water or on land. The park rangers and staff are amazing. They have kind and passionate about this campsite. It’s clean and if you travel solo YOU feel safe. The guest on the site are also friendly and willing to help out. I love this place and I recommend it constantly!
