good place to relax. There are also cottages for rent. Firewood and water. Toilets. Nearby is a noisy river, a forest with mushrooms and beautiful trees. Excellent paths for walking.
Worst campground we ever stayed. The ranger is rude and mean. garbage is everywhere. Campers put sponge cords to fence walk-in sites parking lot access so others can't use it. A guy had his clothing and the blanket his grandma made stolen from his tent. All these are new to us we didn't think it was possible. Alaska is not leaving a good impression with this place.
This is a pretty good campground considering how close it is to Anchorage. Decent privacy between sites. Water availability wasn't really a thing. Trash and restrooms more than adequate.
