Dune Lake Campground

Dune lake is very quiet, shady, has picnic tables. Water and 2 electric outlets were available for our tent camping site. Bathrooms leave much to be desired. Small playground, small lake. Near a sand dune preserve. This is not a hotel, so can't answer those questions. It's a small campground, no on-site management. You can order firewood, and it is very quiet. Most of the sites are shady, and dirt with a bit of grass.

Had an unfortunate experience with booking here. I was told verbally that I could cancel my booking and receive a full refund. I canceled my booking and called back the next day to ask when that would show up in my account. I'm then told I will not receive a refund for the almost $200 - really disappointing miscommunication from their staff. My booking is less than 24 hours old and I understand how business works, but really wish the staff would have been honest when I called to ask.

First time visiting Dune Lake Campground. Absolutely loved it! Great tent and popup sites. Owners so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come here again. So close to Lake Michigan beaches, wineries and orchards. Which we did peach picking.

If you like to look at the stars with as little light pollution as possible, their beach at night is the place for you! We watched the Pleiades meteor shower from there. Spectacular! The campground is clean and the facilities work correctly, plus the owners are prompt with service, such as campsite delivery of firewood.
