Everything was wonderful from the stay, accommodation to the communication with Bill. Beautifully kept grounds with intention and thoughts put into the space for sure especially by Brian who is their camp host/groundskeeper who puts great pride into his work. I do wish I dug a little deeper into the land as I didn't realize the camp site was so close to Bill and Robins home as I was looking for more secluded time in nature (which I still got) but just had different expectations based on the pics. The other thing was how much the noise carries in the mountains and so when dogs barked from neigh…
The corrals are right on the edge of Weldon. The camping spot is very clean and flat. The compost toilet works great and is well spaced away from the campsite. The shower is cold and pretty basic.
Bill and Robin wete extremely responsive and gave clear directions. We got in after dark and it was easy to find where to go and where the bathroom and water were. The composting toilet was clean and actually smelled nice! We purchased the firewood bundle, which thoughtfully included wood shavings for kindling/tinder. Definitely recommend!!
Great absolutely quiet place on a hill under a big tree with an amazing view. The stars are clearly visible at night. The hosts were very friendly and kind to us.
