We stayed a week at Distant Drums. We had a great time. Staff member Jan greeted us as we came in. It was nice to be acknowledge because a lot of places don’t even recognize you standing waiting to be checked in. She was helpful and answered all the questions we had. Very pleasant lady. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Laundry room was clean and easy to use. Camp site was nice and we had plenty of room around us. Nice walking around the campground. We will be back again. Thank you for all you do and your staff members.
There is no free Internet. Matter of fact, there is no Internet service here.You have to subscribe to a Wi-Fi service for a fee in order to have any kind of service on your phone, TV, etc. The pool is not heated. The showers/toilets are not immaculate. There are local workers that stay here at a monthly rate In the back of the RV park and they walk through your site in their bath robes in order to get to the shower every evening. Will not be staying here again.

The resort has many amenities. They offer anything you would need. Front office ladies, Laurie and Jan are amazing and helpful. Very clean and quiet. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Distant Drums. You will not be disappointed.
