Nice and friendly people, quiet and peaceful nature. The most beautiful trail is temporarily closed (devil’s den trail). We hiked the yellow rock overlook trail. The trail lacked some maintenance in places. The outlook points are not so spectacular like in other Arkansas parks. The CCC outlook is laughable, there is nothing to see, as trees haven outgrown it
The park has awesome, nice, and helpful people including the interpreter, welcome center staff, and the café staff. The interpreter told us about the best hikes with waterfalls. We hiked 5 miles worth of trails and enjoyed them. Note: the Devil's Den Trail is currently closed.
