Detroit / Ann Arbor KOA Holiday

I didn't camp here, but my BIL and sister stayed with their trailer while we were gathering to go watch our niece graduate from the University of Michigan. Having grown up with camping, the best feature is pull through spots and all hookups. There are showers, which the BIL took advantage of. They had just finished setting up the kids area, just in time for the tourist season. A current attraction are the Canadian geese on the grass area. I am unable to tell you how far the drive is to lay in groceries or other supplies.

I’ve had a seasonal here for 3 years. My kids love the things to do with the lake along with weekend activities put on by the campground. The only complaint I’ve had was how bad the roads were in the campground. However, this spring they’ve been working on them non stop and are 100x better. The assistant manager is always on top of things that need done even in the winter. All of the staff are friendly and outgoing.

Camping hele jaar geopend staat er, maar het sanitair gebouw is gesloten. En er was een porta potti geplaatst, maar je kunt niet douchen. Het vroor 4 graden en dan ga je niet een eind lopen om op deze wc te zitten. En omdat de camper geen water nog mocht gebruiken waren wij afhankelijk van het sanitair gebouw.
