Great State Park. Campground loops all looked to be in great shape. We were in Coopers Hawk site 100. Faces west. Beautiful mountain view. Trails all over the place. W/E site. Paved with lots of low shade trees. Bathrooms/showers were always clean. Hot water. All the staff and volunteers were encountered were pleasant and helpful. Cottonwood is a nice little town. Sedona 20 minutes away. Will definitely be back.
This is a beautiful, serene place that’s a nice alternate to hiking in Sedona when you want flat terrain, slow pace, and to avoid the crowds. The lagoons are beautiful and good for fishing, with lots of wildlife.

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing. 20$ for the day to get in all day. Nice to sit and relax or go for a walk or go fishing. Nice fish cleaning facility too.
