We’ve tubed a lot in NC (and around the south!) and had an excellent experience with Dan River Outfitters today. Love the online booking and options for connector tubes and a cooler connector tube. Those tubes are brilliant and made it so easy to float with a big group and chat and stay together. Plenty of parking. Loved the details of outdoor rinse stations and indoor changing spaces. Here’s a big deal: the ride is like… 10 minutes but the float is 3 hours. That’s HARD TO FIND! Sometimes to have a long float like that you end up on a shuttle for 45 minutes. Had a fun day on the river the exit can use some work kinda sketchy and the drunk lady fell at least 5 times on the rocks
We came out to tube for our first time today & we had an amazing time! The lady over all of it is super sweet & had popsicles for the kids after the return! Will be coming back this weekend too!
