This is the nicest KOA we have ever been too. The grounds are immaculate as are the rest rooms. Close to everything we wanted to see and do. 15 minutes or less. What makes this place special is there staff. This is to the owner. Keep this crew ! We were there 6 days and my wife didn’t want to leave. Our site was concrete with lots of space along with grass. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Great KOA located in Custer, SD. Site sizes/spacing is fairly standard KOA. This one has nice tree coverage and located further off the highway than many I've stayed at, so it has a more peaceful setting. The tent sites support rooftop camping. The Black Hills and Custer State Park are spread out in general. While this is a scenic and relatively short drive to Sylvan Lake, it is a bit further of a drive into Custer State Park and the wildlife loop - particularly relevant if you're in town for the Buffalo Roundup.
