What a waste of a beautiful location. This is a "KOA" in name only--there are none of the amenities or grounds management systems you would typically expect at a KOA. Oh, and don't leave anything outside. The campground is right off a major highway and people will just waltz in and steal things right out of your site and leave. Our entire cooler was stolen out of our site on the very first day of the trip.

Our campsite was an end site. the trees and foliage just beautiful. Great place to walk the dogs and be in nature.

I think there are better options for an authentic redwoods experience. This KOA is directly off the highway and isn’t near anything else. Crescent city is 10 minutes south but frankly the town has seen better days. There is a playground and the grounds are clean. The WiFi only works when you are in the office. It also advertises cable which it doesn’t have. We also got a noise complaint 5 minutes after we arrived for running a generator at 4pm. This place was a lucky find! Easy access to much that Northern California has to offer so you can go off on adventures and still have much time to enjoy back at the Campground. This KOA grounds has a great vibe and is kept very clean. Showers were free and hot; And they even have a mess kitchen to clean up cookware. The host, Whitney is super sweet and very pleasant to chat with. You can tell she loves the grounds and the people who visit. Her store is very welcoming as well as accommodating; They even have hot sauce if you forgot yours! I highly recommend this spot!
