This was a fun experience for our family. The campsite is right next to the Tulare County Stockyard. It has a nice grassy courtyard and bathrooms and a shower available for use. As others have mentioned you can hear the livestock throughout the night but it did not bother us at all. It was a fun place to camp and close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. It is also a short drive to Dinuba for food and supplies. I'd definitely camp here again.
The site location is hard to compare to pictures we saw and don’t ask about privacy, its like 2-3 people camping in the lawn of a california home.
Highly recommended! They were extremely friendly and helpful, the site was nice and private (we had the whole site to ourselves), Horses, cows, chickens around property, really nice and clean shower/bathrooms (with hot water!!! 😍), drive to Sequoia National Park was really nice and about an hour long. Jon regularly messaged us to make sure everything was ok and made us feel at home. We’ll definitely be back again!
The place was a nice getaway that wasn't too far from the city.
We had a great experience staying at Jon's ranch. Jon was very welcoming, happy to show us around and introduce us to his ranching crew. The area we camped in was super clean and well kept. The opportunity to stay on a cattle ranch was so fun! I would highly recommend staying here! Thanks Jon!
