Covered Wagon Camp Resort

We had a good experience staying for two weeks. Very nice staff and a RV park that is tree covered. A little noise close to the highway. This is an older park recently purchased and going through upgrades. We found the bathroom and shower very out dated and they hadn't been deep cleaned in years. (Dirty ceilings, cobwebs on window frames. Dirty floors) I would also suggest in the near future that trees get trimmed back to avoid RV damage during a storm. I decent park with a possible great future during a remodel.

Sites are smallish bring extra power cords,water hose, and sewer extensions. Other than that camp store is nice and well stocked with fair pricing, bathrooms are dated but cleaned well and kept that way. Laundry is awesome and only 3.75 a load wash and dry. Pond is nice pool was clean and nice . A lot for the kids to do all day we will definitely be back!!

I had planned to stay at this campground year round but it had a major problem with water drainage. They also told me the water was good when in fact it wasn’t. It made my dogs sick. They were very helpful at first but that didn’t last. I personally don’t recommend this campground, I’m sure you can find another one for what they charge.

Very disappointing. Charged us $72. For 1 night stay in campground. The bathrooms and showers were not open, mini golf, pool and all other amenities were not open, the campground was totally flooded from rain that morning before our arrival. Had to stand in massive 6 inch puddles on our tiny site to try to set up. We were told at checkin that a ref weather warning had been issued for possible tornado and torrential rain but we can't have our money back to leave the area to go to safety, but we "are aloud to take cover in the restrooms that arent open or working for safety.
