We are a family owned/operated ranch, located along the Cosumnes River, one of the last un-dammed rivers in California. As one of the last rivers flowing from the west slope of the Sierra without a major dam, the Cosumnes is a vital example of a healthy watershed. Our goal is to offer a unique outdoor experience for anyone looking for a place to spend time in the great outdoors. Whether you're looking for a single campsite, or a place for a larger gathering, we're excited to have you visit! Take your pick of activities available on site: swimming , gold panning, fishing, camp fires, wildlife watching, floating, hiking, and mountain biking to name a few. There are 3 miles of river to explore. *Please note: We don't allow wood campfires during the summer months (generally the last week of May through September)*

We had a great time ! The kids had a blast definitely coming back again .
We had such a great stay here. The property is absolutely beautiful, and Sawyer’s Site #1 was right on the river shore. Falling asleep to the sound of the water was a highlight. We also had the chance to meet Tom, who came by to introduce himself. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
Beautiful campground! One of the best campsites I’ve visited thus far! The hosts were so accommodating and navigated us to the best fishing, hiking and gold panning sites. Tom checked on us daily. He also brought us a five gallon bottle of water and a grill crate just because. Really appreciated that. Safe, fun experience. Camps were well spread out and definitely not overcrowded. We will absolutely plan a return trip, hopefully this year.
