Clean and modern bathrooms, clean and well maintained sites, polite employees ready to help. A slice of heaven on the Grand River. Definitely will camp again and highly recommend!!!
We only stayed two nights. The location is beautiful and set along the river, but that’s it. It is primarily a seasonal RV campground. The bathrooms were horrible. They were not clean and the toilets back up easily and they smell. It may be from the water. Individual sites were ok, but the concrete patio was all broken up and uneven.
We stayed here this past weekend 5/3 and we were plenty disappointed. Getting in and settling in the campground wasn't too bad. Saturday morning at around 7:00 a.m. while most of us were trying to sleep in, they decided it was a good idea to bring in a loud construction vehicle to do maintenance within the park and it all woke us up unexpectedly. The gift shop/ office had limited hours and not that it affected the trip, but we were a little disappointed that the ice cream shop was closed.
