We are from Alabama but moved to West Virginia in 2021. We attended Auburn University and the Auburn battle cry is “ War Eagle!” When I saw this Colorado property on War Eagle Trail, I bought it immediately. We visit occasionally and plan to build a cabin there. Until then, or even after, you can enjoy the views I long for. Enjoy Life! - Cheap Trekking! Property is flat so pitch your tent, setup your camper or RV. The ground is undeveloped but hard. No gravel so 4WD is always best, 2WD is ok but be aware if it rains it might get muddy. I have a Class B+ RV and it was about a 10 mile dirt road to this site. That being said, the dirt roads are very well maintained and I did not need 4x4 to get here. Be warned, there are working farm dogs that roam the area but did not come close to me or my rig. The plot of land is covered in high bushes and ouchy weeds so I don't know how you would tent camp here but was fine in a vehicle.
Solid place to stay. Would stay longer if was in the area more, exactly as advertised. Take the road in from the east, there is a wash to the west that could be wet/sticky if not prepared.
