Awesome experience! I brought my wife on her first camping trip and the hosts made it an incredible experience! Our campsite number was 56 which is one of the sites that has electrical outlets in case you need them, there are also picnic tables at each site. The fire rings were clean and ready to use upon our arrival and if you don’t bring firewood, the hosts offer some for sale. The first night they were smaller bundles for $5, the second night they were larger bundles for $10. Bathroom facilities were always clean and close by. The host informed us that there is potable drinking water availa…
The hosts are kind and amazing at making sure the area and restrooms are clean and ready for use, they politely remind and enforce rules to provide a quiet and relaxing atmosphere where everyone is able to enjoy the experience. They come around and check in and see if anything needs addressed. It is near manitou Lake picnic area where you can fish, picnic and relax.(no swimming or wading.) Near by to turkey hill shooting range and just minutes to near by woodland park which has shopping and the dinosaur resource center.
