First time staying and didn't know what to expect. Saturday events, forgot something stop by the store on site. Cabin was great has a fishing pond but got skunked two days in a row for a combined 15 hrs of fishing tried everything in the book. Hiking trails near by. Laundry mat public showers. Great place to just kick back with friends and hang out for the weekend. Park for the kids as well.
Super friendly staff, clean sites. Would stay here again. The greenery and folage were pretty, but would recommend some trimming of low hanging limbs and corners for larger RV flow.
My friends and I come here every year in the month of April. We sit around our campfire singing. Having a wonderful time. I would like to let everyone know that I had put a prior review out there which was handled very promptly and taken care of Colonia woods. Campground is a family owned and operated. They do everything they can to make everyone's visit extraordinary YES EVERYONE I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND COLONIAL WOODS CAMPGROUND Thank you to all the staff for helping us. See you soon
I would like everyone to understand the reason for my change of the review I left earlier for Colonia woods Campground. Nathan called me earlier and we had a wonderful conversation. He apologized immensely many times over for the people that were across from us making all types of noise at 12:00 at night And the situation is going to be taken care of . I have a lot of consideration for someone that takes the time to call someone and let them know that they were highly disappointed of what happened to my husband and I. So please everyone give them a really great chance. We have been going there…
