Coleville / Walker KOA Holiday

Beautiful, well maintained and conveniently situated campground if you are visiting the Eastern Sierras.

The park itself is beautiful, it has great views, amenities and is clean for the most part. It is right on the highway so there is some road noise especially if you’re in the front area of the park. The roads are all pea gravel, so not bike or scooter friendly. The spots are fairly level and have all the hook up you need, though most are right on top of each other and you’re basically in your neighbors camp site when you dump or need to go to that side of your camper. Pretty awkward dumping when your neighbors are sitting outside trying to relax and enjoy camping. So with all that said… again …

There’s no check-in after 8 PM. The front desk continually told me that they’re not a fancy hotel and they don’t offer a lockbox option. I stayed at numerous RURAL cabins and the like where there’s a lockbox and you get your key with a code after hours. I guess I didn’t “read the policy” but what motel in this day and age doesn’t allow for a check in after 8 pm?! Screwed out of $150

Sehr ruhiger , aber sauberer Campground . Tolle Lage am Berg. Pool sauber und ausreichend. Zum Yosemite aber 75-90 min Fahrweg .

We recently stayed at Meadowcliff Lodge & Coleville/Walker KOA and couldn't have been more impressed. The campground was spotless from top to bottom, and our site was perfectly level — exactly what you want after a long drive. Water pressure was excellent, and the whole facility was clearly maintained with real pride of ownership. What truly sets this place apart are the hosts, Tim and Scott.
