Got to the visitors office right at close to register my kayaks for the season. DNR officer Elijah met us at the door, and offered help eagerly! He let us know we were JUST moments shy of being in time unfortunately, and we began to walk back to our car. He came racing to our truck window to let us know that the campground was actually still open, and that we could still go down there and get taken care of. He could have clocked out and clocked into his regular life. Thank you to this man for his generosity with his time. May god bring all these DNR officers safety, and blessings!
Lots of geocaching spots. Good fishing. Good for dog walks.
