About Coco The Airstream
Welcome to Coco, the 1970 Overlander 27’ Airstream! We have tried to preserve her 50-year-old charm as much as possible and are still in the process of restoring her to her original glory. Our family of 4 humans, two dogs, and one guinea pig lived in Coco while our house was being built. It was quite an adventure! Coco is nestled in the foothills of the Sierras on our semi-private 4-acre property. Easy access to Grass Valley, Nevada City, and the Yuba River. Coco the Airstream is fully functional with a kitchen and bathroom. There is one full-ish size bed that sleeps two comfortably in the bedroom area, and the couch can fold into one twin-sized bed. We are located about 15 minutes to town and 10 to the nearest grocery store. Coco the Airstream shares the property with a private family of four humans and two dogs in a house at the top of the hill. My parents are full time RVers and often stay in the other RV spot on our property throughout the year when they are taking a break from traveling. The two dogs are very friendly but may bark to greet you upon your arrival. Show more

The cutest place to camp by the Yuba! Very well equipped and Jessica and her partner are super nice and helpful!
It was a unique and enjoyable experience! Coco is super maintained, clean and organized! We went on the Yuba River, Grass Valley and Nevada for the first time and it was amazing! it was a totally different weekend, great to relieve the stress of SF. I will probably be back. Thank you Jessica!
It's very clean and quiet. We had a great two days here with our kids. We plan to stay here again in the winter. Thank you so much Jessica for such a great place. God bless you.
I’ve had very positive and some not so good experiences through Hipcamp. This was pleasant. The airstream is super cute and they’ve done a good job maintaining it. It is old so things aren’t fancy, which is what is charming about it. When we first arrived, they had the AC running, but it wasn’t really cooling it down. We turned it off and opened all the windows while we went to Nevada City. When we got back it felt much better. Then the AC worked like a charm! The only issue I’d say, is the bathroom can get a bit smelly which is to be expected with something as old as Coco. I kept the wind…
Very convenient access to Grass Valley. Hosts are really nice and responsive.
Clean and cozy. A coffee pot I couldn’t find, but no worries
