Clearwater / Lake Tarpon KOA Holiday

We enjoyed staying in the cabins and absolutely loved how they were nestled in the woods and had the boardwalk to get you to your private cabin. The entire campground was clean and beautiful. The staff were very friendly!

Love this campground, clubhouse always has something cool 😎 going on to join in nice fully stocked camp store , great staff !!

Really enjoyed our stay at Lake Tarpon KOA. I interacted with no less than 5 staff members and all of them were friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean and really nice. The bathrooms are clean and have a coded lock which is wonderful for security. The laundry facilities are outdoors but in a nice clean shaded area with seating very close to the pool.

We cannot say enough about our 3 week stay March 2026 at the KOA HOLIDAY Clearwater/Lake Tarpon! From the moment we pulled in we knew we were in a special place. We were greeted by the staff, Christopher the Manager, Ashley, Mary & Marrisa with friendly smiles. Christopher was great, always willing to hear where their guest came from or to help with recommendations to local attractions. The amenities were outstanding. The restrooms/showers were meticulous. The pool and patio area was like a beautiful resort. We really enjoyed the pancake/waffles breakfast!...Oh! one more thing..the laun…

Clearwater KOA, which is located in the heart of Palm Harbor, is a very clean, tropical feeling, partially private sites, animal friendly campground. We stayed here for two evenings and enjoyed the area. The campground was pretty peaceful, even though it was right off of highway 19. We had requested a site in the last row, which is furthest from the highway. We did not use the amenities like the pool, etc. The streets within the campground are paved, all of the sites are a tight gravel, that are fairly level. While I rated this campground a five stars I would point out one negative, that i…
