Clear Sky Resorts - Bryce Canyon - Unique Stargazing Domes

Let's keep it simple. The good: •You're not getting this view from a hotel room window. It's amazing to lay under the stars 🌟 •Beds are extremely comfortable •Dome was temp controlled and comfortable at all times •Food from restaurant was decent and service was on par The bad: •Ran by mostly kids •guy wouldn't let me check in 20 mins early 😒 said my room was being cleaned 🙄 •no everyone kills the lights at night like they should but big whoop •they canceled stargazing "due to weather"? Clear Sky tries to be a luxury experience, but it misses the mark in too many areas to justify the price. No early check-in—at all. Once we got in, the room itself had a cool design and an incredible view, but the door was broken and the temperature was hard to control. WiFi barely worked, which is a big issue since you’re expected to text the front desk. There’s no TV (fine, part of the vibe), but without WiFi, even basic planning on your phone becomes frustrating. Absolutely loved our time at CSR Bryce Canyon! The dome was incredible and the view of the nearby sky and scenery was beautiful. We liked the privacy of the more secluded dome-probably wouldn’t have cared as much for the non-secluded options. The staff was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast at the on-site restaurant and enjoyed both our meals and the views. The futuristic look and decor was cool. Only wish is that our trip would have fallen on a new moon week and not a full moon week to have really gotten the full dark sky experience.

The disco dome was the last one available when I booked, not my first choice, but it was so fun and our dome faced nature, not like others that faced other domes or faced the road. So we felt very lucky in that sense. It was clean and so unique. The shower was leaking. I hope they can take good care of this place…. We walked around a lot under the full moon, which I loved but some complained of the “light pollution” It would be nice to have walking paths on the property, at least up to the restaurant/yoga dome. The Domes at Clear Sky are unbelievably cool—but that’s just the first impression. Staying here is a full experience from start to finish. Check-in sets the tone right away. The staff is genuinely some of the friendliest I’ve come across, and they make you feel welcome immediately. There are also several on-site activities depending on the season—horseback riding and falconry are a couple of really fun, unique options. Dinner at the restaurant was such a highlight.
