We went on a Monday in late April, and it was gorgeous! One of the best state parks we've been to so far. We fished (bought worms at the ranger station - they were tiny and expensive, better to bring your own), loved the high quality picnic shelters with quality rocking benches. We hiked. We rented the frisbees for disc golf (amazing course!), and we would've rented kayaks and canoes, but ran out of time. I love the state park and on Sundays I like too Ride though the campground & park but sure didn't know it cost $3 just to ride though it and if ur a resident of york County it cost nothing to get in and they have alot more then our state park I can see if ur hanging out at the park u pay this fee but too just ride though it and I'm a resident of chester county...just saying
