It is a Heavenly 80-acre wooded space for reconnecting with God and nature. Enjoy private hiking and trails, a cultivated blueberry patch, and the beginnings of a meadow, and all of the fauna that comes with it. 2 miles from the Great Sacandaga Lake, and about 30 min from Saratoga Springs or Lake George. Lake Luzerne, 10 minutes away, has plenty of outdoor activities from which you can escape back to the cottage for maximum serenity. The home is on just under 80 acres of woods (~2 acres is cleared around the house) with (currently) uncurated logging trails to the summit of a small mountain. It is just down the road (2 miles) from The Great Sacandaga Lake. The home itself is a modestly renovated 100-year-old home, so it has a lot of the 'character' one might expect from such a house (e.g., tilted floors, smaller rooms, etc.). The downstairs bathroom needs updating aesthetically, but it is fully functioning, as is the upstairs bathroom (i.e., yes, you can easily shower with hot water and poop in solitude!). This property is more about the outside than it is the inside - there is a front porch and a back deck with ample seating, to encourage maximum time outside.
