This beautiful cabin is a charming private getaway located on a braid of the Madison River, near the Big Bend of the river. The spectacular deck runs the length of the cabin and is perched on the edge of the river itself. Here you'll enjoy relaxing in one of the many cozy deck chairs while listening to the babbling sounds of the river. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a galley kitchen, and a small dining area that overlooks the river and deck. The master bedroom on the main floor has a full bath and a king-size bed. There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with two twin beds, and a shared bathroom. The cabin is located a few miles below the Three Dollar Bridge. There are two other cabins in the area, only one of which is occasionally occupied, so it is very private. The Madison River in southwest Montana is possibly the most famous river in the state, known for its spectacular scenery and exceptional fishing. Both wild rainbow and large brown trout can be caught year-round on the 180-mile-long river. The Madison begins its descent in the western region of Yellowstone National Park, at the confluence of the Firehole and Gibbon Rivers, and makes its way north through the Madison River Valley before joining up with the Jefferson and Gallatin Rivers to become the mighty Missouri River. From the 50-mile riffle in the Upper Madison down to the more tranquil flow in the river’s lower reaches, anglers can find numerous places to enjoy casting their fly.
