Stayed in family cabins. Weather was cooler than we bargained for-- making fishing less desirable and less fruitful. Instructions were a little messy. Front gate advised keys could be picked up at campground upon check in. When checking out--no campground gate attendant. Dropped keys to main gate; who said they were supposed to be turned into park headquarters. *shrugs* Cabins were cozy. Good place to unplug. Limited cell phone reception. No tv. No wifi. Kids enjoyed the school house scavenger hunt. Park was clean.
One of our favorite parks. The campground is amazing, clean, quiet. The lakes are beautiful and fun to boat on. In addition they have some great trail races there a couple of times a year.
Campsites are nice. Not too close together. The camp store is stocked with items you're mostly like to need. The employees are friendly and helpful. Trails are great to walk. The bathroom and showers could and should be updated and sometimes aren't always the cleanest inside the campground. But overall it is one of our favorite places to camp and relax as its quiet and hidden away in the trees.
