Chain O' Lakes Campground

Had great time camping. Excited for next year.

This campground was our base for 4 days we plan to hike on the North Country Scenic Trail. Since we camped in late October, we had no crowds, but we had a clean and warm restroom with showers and a very pleasant campsite. It worked great for us and we hope to be back

I stayed here in 2023 with a small camper and it was incredible! the owners are wonderfully helpful and nice. I just stayed there, but in a cabin. just what I needed! I hunted in Bellaire noth times and harvested a deer. There is a cooler in the barn and the owner helped me hang up my deer. Super friendly. Ultra accommodating. I highly recommend staying there.

This is a sweet campground with surrounding maple woods that were SO beautiful with the changing leaves! We camped in a travel trailer with full hook up. Bathrooms were clean. Staff were very pleasant. We really enjoyed and took advantage of the short trail through the woods - walking with our dog several times a day. Easy drive to many attractions. We did the Skybridge at Boyne one morning and then on through the tunnel of trees and Cross Village. Another day to Charlevoix. Close to Torch Lake.

Like another reviewer said, the image associated with this RV Park is NOT representative of the cram-packed camp sites you will pay for. It is a parking lot with trees, by a very loud and busy road. I literally had a site just big enough for my 19’ trailer and the patch of gravel underneath a small picnic table. The park would easily have to get rid of at least a third of its “sites” to even come close to a normal park. On a crowded weekend, people have fires in their expected fire rings all around you that are a maximum of fifteen feet away. The bath house I used has stained toilets seats and…
