Carson Valley RV Resort

We had to book a last minute RV site because of a storm coming through Lake Tahoe and we were grateful they could squeeze us in. The woman that booked me was also kind enough to tell me where I could get supplies for the night by directing us to the Walmart in town so we don’t waste anytime trying to search for a place and getting hit by the weather. We tried booking a weekend here in June 2025 with our older, however meticulously maintained aluminum sided Safari Coach and were rejected after sending a few photos to Liz, whom cited their 10 year rule. We later purchased a newer Tiffin and had no problem booking in off-season to stay and watch the Christmas parade of lights and break in the new motorhome. When we arrived we were shocked to be surrounded by 10-30 year old trailers, pop-ups, 5th wheels. RV resort is next to the casino. The spaces are small and close together and there is highway noise. The casino staff is very friendly. Full hookups are at each site and there is a dump station as well. There is a pool in the casino. I feel the price is too high at $85 night for the area and scenery. It was fine for a quick overnight. There are 3 restaurants in the casino and of course, the casino.
